Short description: The process of evolution are all events abiotyc-biotic, the end result of which is a manifestation of entropy and antyentropii. These processes always run interdependent, and were directed at the impact also interdependent factors and mechanisms. These relationships is based biological fundamental right - the biological evolution is only possible on the basis of the abiotic environment and on the basis of the relationships between organisms. The latter is characterized as bechawior.
Full description: Evolution of productivity and mortality; dynamics and evolution of niches; specialization and generalization; evolutionary outcomes of predation and competition; evolution of biodiversity; evolutionary stable strategy; egoism and altruism; territoriality and colonialism; mating systems; optimal foraging strategy; anti-predation adaptations; fundamentals of sociobiology.

Learning outcomes: Knowledge: W1 - explains the ways of plant’s and animal’s adaptation to the environment in their evolutional process, knows and explains the ecological strategy of animal’s behavior. W2 – understands the evolutional mechanisms of defense (arms race) and interaction between organisms in nature; W3 – explains evolutional rules of functionality of ecosystem and conditioning of biodiversity.Knows the meanings of the words of evolutional and behavioral ecology. Skills: U1- interprets and discusses the results and enunciates scientific hypothesis and conclusions of evolutional ecology; U2 – analyses and explains interactions between organisms and environment on the morphological and behavioral levels U3 – can analyze ecological and behavioral information, which helps in solving general biological problems. Social competences: K1 – shows the understanding of ecological and evolutional phenomenon in nature and updates knowledge of this topic systematically K2 – is aware of active cooperation with organizations, which protects biodiversity
Assessment methods and assessment criteria: On the basis of oral statements. Students having the final score from tutorials in a session examining board. Minimum required knowledge for passing: 60%. If the exam is not passed in the first period, the student has the right to pass it again in oral or writing form during repeat examination.
